As Managing Partner & General Counsel of Haven, Greg oversees all operations and legal aspects of the company. He is also a member of Haven’s Executive Committee.
Prior to Haven, Greg was a Co-Founder and Head of Acquisitions at Tenet Equity, a private REIT backed with an initial $500 million equity commitment from Cerberus Capital Management. At Tenet, Greg led the origination and closing of over $300 million of net lease transactions. Prior to Tenet, Greg was Managing Director at STORE Capital from 2018-2021 (then a publicly traded REIT, NYSE: STOR), responsible for STORE’s acquisition activity across the Midwest. At STORE, Greg led the origination, structuring and closing of over $1 billion in net lease investments.
Prior to joining STORE, Greg spent six years practicing law, most recently in the corporate real estate group at Jones Day, a multinational law firm with 40 offices around the globe. As a real estate lawyer, he advised Fortune 500 companies, U.S. developers, private equity groups and real estate funds in various aspects of real estate transactions, including sale-leasebacks, joint ventures, financings and leasing. Prior to practicing law, Greg spent three years as a commercial real estate broker with a national brokerage firm, where he focused on investment sales of office, retail and multi-family investment properties.
Greg received a B.S. in Finance & Real Estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He holds a Brokers license and is admitted to the Illinois State Bar.
As Partner of Haven, John is head of originations for the company. He is also a member of Haven’s Executive Committee.
Prior to Haven, Mr. Bradley led various real estate syndications, completing over $100 million in sale-leaseback transactions throughout the U.S. & Canada, as well as participating in several multi-family acquisitions totaling 1,000+ units. Prior to that, John spent a decade in credit risk, where he facilitated the purchase and sale of residential and commercial assets to institutional investors. John’s experience across the real estate spectrum, on both the advisor and principal sides, brings unique insight and perspective to Haven’s clients.
As Partner of Haven, Jimmy leads capital markets and business development strategy for the company. He is also a member of Haven’s Executive Committee.
Prior to Haven, Jimmy was Vice-President of Acquisitions at Tenet Equity, a private REIT backed by Cerberus Capital Management, responsible for Tenet’s acquisition activity across the Midwest and Southeast. At Tenet, Jimmy led the origination and structuring of over $500 million in net lease investments.
Prior to Tenet, Jimmy was Vice-President of Business Development at Karlov Street Capital, a single-family office in Chicago. At Karlov, he invested alongside State Pension Funds & Endowments, multi-billion-dollar companies and other family offices in a variety of industries, including real estate, private equity, venture capital, and lending. Between his time at Karlov and Merrill Lynch, Jimmy has allocated over $150 million for individuals and families across both public and private sector portfolios.
Jimmy received a B.S. in Finance from the Herberger School of Business at St. Cloud State University where he was a member of the Men’s Division 1 Ice Hockey Team.
As Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management, Mr. Jeffers is responsible for Haven’s portfolio management functions, while also handling all investor relations needs. In addition, he leads the firm’s marketing initiatives. Prior to joining Haven, Pat participated in various net lease syndication projects. Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Jeffers held various business development positions in the food and beverage industry, most recently with Rise Coffee and Anheuser Busch.
Mr. Jeffers received his B.S. from Indiana University and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Tennessee.
As Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and head of Haven’s Chicago office, Matt is responsible for originating new sale-leaseback opportunities for the company, bringing over 9 years of real estate advisory experience to the firm. Prior to joining Haven, Matt served as Vice President in the Net Lease Investment group at Mid-America Real Estate, a Midwest advisory firm specializing in the acquisition and disposition of retail properties throughout the United States. Throughout his career, Matt has facilitated more than $400 million in total real estate transaction volume.
Matt received a B.S. from The University of Iowa and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
As a Senior Advisor at Haven, Michael manages strategic relationships with Fortune 500 companies, pension funds, foundations, insurance companies and other professional investors.
Mr. Millard has been specializing in the commercial and residential mortgage secondary markets for over 35 years. Prior to forming Millard Capital Advisors, LLC, he spent 19 years as Managing Director at WJ Mayer & Co./ William J. Mayer Securities, LLC. Michael was responsible for business development between originators and investors for commercial and residential mortgages with a particular focus on creating mortgage flow programs and bulk sales in the secondary mortgage markets.
Earlier in his career, he sold and traded FHA Insured Multi-family loans and was at the vanguard of the CMBS market while with USGI Inc and Cheslock Bakker Associates. Michael’s career started at Merrill Lynch and Citibank.
He received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and holds series 7, 50 & 63 licenses.
